Amazon.com For avid outdoorspeople, boaters, or folks who just like to know what to expect, this wireless weather station provides all the stats for planning a day outside. The station reports the temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius and humidity for indoor locations and outdoor locations using a remote sensor. For more accurate outdoor readings, the base unit can receive information from up to three different sensors, which can each be placed up to 80 feet away. The weather station records the minimum and maximum temperatures and humidity readings within a 24-hour period and recalls them at your prompting. The device also calculates the setting and rising times of the sun and the moon for 255 different American, 16 Canadian, and 5 Mexican cities and shows the current moon phase. The display shows the current barometric air pressure and access to a 30-hour history is available as well. A forecast icon on the LCD displays weather predictions based on changing air pressure and is about 75% accurate for any 12- to 20-hour time period. The wireless station even has a storm warning indicator to give you ample time to prepare for foul weather. For added convenience, the sun/moon weather station has a clock with the accurate date. For precise time- and date-keeping, the gadget has a built-in antenna system that receives signals from the WWVB radio transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is in turn is regulated by the atomic clock. The sun/moon wireless weather station requires three AA batteries for the receiver and another two for the remote and mounts on a wall or rests on a table for readouts. This unit is covered by a one-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

My mom loves it May 7, 2008 I got this for my mom because she wanted a fancy temperature, humidity thing. We did have problems with the shipping, they didnt send the sensor. But, they promptly sent the right one when notified. It's not huge, so you can hang on the wall unubtrusivly. My mom says she looks at it a few times a day to stay informed. Overall it's pretty handy, we use two different sensors. One for our indoor seeding greenhouse(stood up to the constant moisture), and one outside for weather. It also tells you if the barometric pressure is changing, so you can expect a change in weather:)
weather station May 5, 2008 Nice weather station--gives alot of information. But I wish I could make the display a little darker. I adjusted the contrast but that made the "background" of the display show through more. I have this in my kitchen garden window (where there is alot of ambient light) and it's difficult to read easily. But if you are going to put this where there isn't alot of glare or background light it's wonderful. I like the barometric pressure bar graph and the atomic time worked right from the start.
WS-8015TWC Wireless Weather Station January 28, 2008 Easy to follow instructions. Questions I had regarding set-up and operation were covered in the manual that came with the unit. I wanted to have an additonal sensor for monitoring indoor humidity in another room so I purchased an additonal sensor, the TX7U sensor. This allows me to look at the humidity and temperature in the room I place the sensor in at the sensor or on the display of the WC-8015TWC. Thus far I am very pleased with the unit.

I like the product. Difficult at first to get the remote part to talk to the base unit, but after reading the instructions again it works like a champ
